Finance Manager, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
£55- £65kpa plus great benefits including a bonus, car allowance, medical & pension
Our client, a nationwide leader who are going through an exciting period of growth, having just made an acquisition, are looking to bring on board a technically strong Finance Manager. This role will be responsible for ensuring the set up and delivery of accurate and timely submission of accounting & reporting in accordance with head office accounting policy. They will take responsibility for the end to end finance processes in the business, ultimately delivering the financial statements, inline with IFRS.
Key Duties:-
* Lead and develop and small team to implement new controls and processes that will support month-end closing activities including the reconciliations of financial statements.
* Measure performance against business plan, including P&L and various assets.
* Ensure GL reconciliations are completed, and any differences investigated.
* Overall responsibility for delivery of monthly/ quarterly group reporting packages to head office.
* Ensure a robust fixed asset register and accurate VAT reporting.
* Lead the entities budget and reforecast processes, linking with other team as required.
* Lead the production of year end accounts, including working with the external auditors.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable experience inline with the above. Technical reporting skills are important and also ideally IFRS experience. The company enjoys a healthy working balance and hybrid working (1-2 days in the office) is also in place.
