Finance Manager Role

NC Associates are working with a forward thinking, family owned supply chain sector organisation based in Bury, Greater Manchester to assist in recruiting a time served, experienced, qualified Finance Manager. My client is looking for an experienced, confident and time served qualified Accountant who can help drive and manage a multi site small team in preparing timely management accounts for the small group of businesses. As a Finance Manager there will have lots of opportunity to make this accounts function your own and to build on your existing experience.

Finance Manager Responsibilities -

• Lead a small multi site accounts team to deliver the period end management accounting of group businesses
• Assist and manage the budget process to drive the comercial decision making process
• Oversee the full accounts team with responsibility for the cash position and the payroll process.
• Manage and provide direction and development for a team of 4 over multi site locations
• Manage the year end process and cordinate the the relationship with external auditors

Finance Manager Experience Required -

• Ideally Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant
• Previous management experience in a finance based role 
• Relevant accounting background  in a growing SME isadvantageous
• Good proficiency in Accounts based systems and Cloud based solutions
• Excellent communicator, to build great working relationships with stakeholders
• Strong Commercial awareness withthe ability to influence change. 
• Strong attention to detail.
