Finance Manager

SF are currently recruiting an exciting role as a Finance Manager based in Mansfield on a Full Time Permanent basis. This role offers a great team to work in, flexible hours and options to work from home.

Salary up to £45,000

Job duties:

• Managing purchase, sales and banking ledger clerks.
• Posting and reconciling bank journals in various currencies
• Maintaining general ledger
• Administrating construction industry scheme HMRC portal, assisting in monthly return filing and verification of sub-contractors
• Posting general journals
• Maintain fixed asset register and posting depreciation amortization
• Assisting and overseeing credit control
• Preparing and paying supplier payment runs
• Maintaining foreign exchange rates on ERP system
• Preparing Management Accounts up to trial balance and pre Finance Director month end journals
• Responding to accounts related queries with internal and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Previous experience in Month-End/Management Accounts
Studying AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by experience
Experience in managing a team before (Minimum of 1 - 2 people)
Team player
Good attention to detail
Good Excel skills
