Finance Manager

• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices for the company
• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to relevant functional heads
• Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems - while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
• Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
• Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
• Leading the team responsible, VAT and HMRC processes/ compliances.

Finance Manager

• Strong commercial experience of working within a company with intranational business activities.
• Technical accounting knowledge and Experience working in a trading company.
• Experience with SAP B1 and excellent Excel and modelling skills or experience using another ERP application
• Creating statutory accounts
• Ability to delegate and manage the work of others
• Experience of AP and AR
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience running annual audits and focal points for all internal control system relating to account/finance processes.
• Experience with annual budgets, forecasting and cashflows modelling
• Attention to detail and in-depth understanding of international and domestic laws and regulations
• Track record of managing a team and getting the best of the employees within the team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and outside the business.
