Finance Manager

My client is a wholesale business based in North Manchester. Due to the current incumbent leaving the role they are recruiting this position on a permanent basis into their finance function, this is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to step up into a Finance Manager role and become a qualified finance leader.

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of 4 transactional level finance staff and providing a comprehensive accounting service for this particular entity within the wider group. This will include producing monthly management accounts, completing budgeting and forecasting, performing variance analysis and producing profit and loss reports, as well as completing the daily cash flow and cash flow forecasting. You will also business partner with the Chairman and other key stakeholders across the business.

This role will suit a candidate who is working towards their ACCA or CIMA and has experience in a varied management accounts position and is ready to step up into a leadership role. The salary is paying up to £50,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes full study support and a generous holiday entitlement, with excellent opportunities for development and progression within the business.
