Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper - Finance Manager to work for a well established business based in the Uckfield area. The Bookkeeper - Finance Manager will be working as part of the Accounts team, managing client accounts, subcontractor info, bank reconciliations, everyday transactional accounting and financial reporting.

Salary: £38-45K dependent on experience

Location: Uckfield, parking onsite. Due to rural location, own transport required

Finance Management - Accounts duties:

  • Manage the transactional finance processes and accounts
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconciliations
  • Monitor and maintain the financial records
  • Prepare and present financial reports
  • Provide commentary on any findings
  • Review and monitor the finance functions to ensure they are up to date and inline with compliance and policies

Skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar Finance Manager, Accounts Manager, Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper type role, ideally within engineering or construction
  • Good IT skills including accounting systems such as; Sage
  • Excellent communication skills
