A well established organisation based in Hove, seeking a Finance Manager on a temporary basis
Description
As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing and posting journals payroll
- Managing accruals and prepayments
- Processing sensitive and confidential payments including payroll
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Supporting treasury management by preparing the regular cashflow forecasts
- Assisting with the annual budget setting process
- Prepare the year end accounts and answer queries from the auditors
- Reviewing bank reconciliations
- Providing efficient, flexible, high-quality financial management and reporting services
- Providing oversight of the financial administration of the department
- Ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality and security of data and sensitive information at all times.
Profile
To be successful for the role you will need to have:
- Analytical skills with strong experience in Excel
- High attention to detail to ensure data is accurate and reliable, with good numeracy skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, evidence of high levels of self organisation
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and externally including ability to communicate technical issues clearly and simply to other team members
- The ability to be a collaborative team member, but also able to work independently and under pressure to achieve team and individual goals
