A well established organisation based in Hove, seeking a Finance Manager on a temporary basis

Description

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing and posting journals payroll
  • Managing accruals and prepayments
  • Processing sensitive and confidential payments including payroll
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Supporting treasury management by preparing the regular cashflow forecasts
  • Assisting with the annual budget setting process
  • Prepare the year end accounts and answer queries from the auditors
  • Reviewing bank reconciliations
  • Providing efficient, flexible, high-quality financial management and reporting services
  • Providing oversight of the financial administration of the department
  • Ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality and security of data and sensitive information at all times.

Profile

To be successful for the role you will need to have:

  • Analytical skills with strong experience in Excel
  • High attention to detail to ensure data is accurate and reliable, with good numeracy skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, evidence of high levels of self organisation
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and externally including ability to communicate technical issues clearly and simply to other team members
  • The ability to be a collaborative team member, but also able to work independently and under pressure to achieve team and individual goals
