Finance Manager

KCR Solutions are working with an excellent manufacturing business based in Gateshead to recruit a Finance Manager. Reporting to the MD, you will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with the ability to communicate effectively with other departments within the business and integrate well with the management team. Main duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts including variance analysis and commentary to budgets/forecasts
• Maintain, interpret and report accurate financial data to tight deadline
• Support the annual statutory financial statement preparation
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting of monthly financial results, annual financial statements, annual budgets and monthly forecasts
• Process and monitor all capital expenditure justifications and submissions
• Liaise with management team regarding any projects, assisting with justification of the request and monitoring of the project as it progresses against budget approved
• Effective management and control of the treasury requirements of the business
• Co-ordinate annual financial audit and liaison with external auditors
• Review and ensure company policies and procedures are effectively implemented
• Work with commercial and procurement teams regarding pricing of goods and services sold and bought to ensure profit margin is not impacted negatively
• Identify opportunities for business improvements within the organisation
