About the company:

A well-established firm of solicitors with a new opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join the firm in a broad role.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and manage management accounts for the firm.
• Oversee financial accounting activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
• Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes
• Optimise financial performance.
• Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability.
• Manage accounts payable functions and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Analyse financial data and prepare reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.

Skills/Qualifications required:

• Previous finance experience in a legal/solicitors/similar environment.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent management skills.
• Management accounting experience.
• Analysis and problem-solving skills.
