Finance Manager
KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this excellent charity in Newcastle. Reporting to the FD, you will be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience. Your duties will be as follows:
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Managing the preparation of statutory accounts
- Managing the preparation of annual budgets
- Overseeing the preparation of VAT returns
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Cash flow analysis
- Prompt and accurate reconciliation of key control accounts and inter-company accounts
- Assisting in the development and implementation of finance and operational policies
- Assisting with the monthly payroll process, liaising with HR and other departments as needed
- Getting involved in ad-hoc reporting and other projects as needed
- Managing the finance team
You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally with experience in a charity or the housing sector. You will have strong IT skills, particularly Word and Excel. Experience of working on business improvement projects would be an advantage, as would Xero software experience.
