Finance Manager

Search Recruitment are partnering with an established organisation in Edinburgh to recruit a Finance Manager on a part-time (2 days per week), permanent basis with hybrid working. Within the role, you'll be responsible for leading the financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Lead the annual financial planning and review cycle, collaborating with senior stakeholders.
* Produce financial plans, ensuring the financial resilience of medium to long-term strategies and priorities.
* Produce and analyse financial management reports, including monthly management accounts, balance sheet analysis, and weekly cash position reports.
* Prepare year-end accounts and manage audit process.
* Manage and control accounting systems to ensure accuracy and good practice.
* Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Skills and experience you'll ideally have:

* Accounting qualification.
* Knowledge of financial regulatory and VAT compliance.
* Advanced skills in the use of accounting software.
* Demonstrable experience in leading financial planning and management accounting.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of business.
