A diligent Finance Manager is needed to support the accounting and finance department of a well known restaurant group. The role demands a keen eye for detail and an ability to handle complex financial tasks whilst overseeing junior members of the team.

Description

The key responsibilities of this Finance Manager position will be:

* Monthly Management Accounts: Preparation and submission, including all financial accounting and reconciliation processes.

* Financial Reporting: Monthly reporting of financial results, analysing variances, and providing commentary to support decision-making.

* Business Partnering: Supporting cost centres with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.

* Board and CFO Reporting: Contributing to the Board report and monthly CFO reporting pack.

* Forecasting and Budgeting: Preparing forecasts and budgets for the balance sheet, cash flow statement

* Audit Liaison: Acting as the key point of contact for auditors.

* Process Improvement: Establishing best-in-class controls, processes, and internal reporting.

* System Development: Developing fit-for-purpose financial systems and controls with high data integrity.

* Policy Development: Updating financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the Group

Profile

The successful Finance Manager should have:

• Proven experience in a similar accountancy role
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes
• Proficiency in using financial software and Excel
• A knack for organisational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• An analytical mind with good problem-solving abilities
