Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be working with this SME business based in Cannock to help them recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

Your new role

The job of the Finance Manager in this business will be a busy one. The right candidate will be resilient and comfortable with a fast-paced environment and able to embrace change.
Duties for the role involve:

• Overseeing the end-to-end process of the Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and Payroll functions within the company
• All aspects of staff management, including reviews and appraisals
• Continuously assess the finance processes that are in place and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies
• Identifying opportunities to enhance accuracy of financial operations
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and credit control
• Setting performance expectations and regularly monitoring these to identify opportunities for professional development of the team
• Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have supervised a transactional finance team, and they will have a good understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll.
