What you will be doing... 

  • Providing financial support, building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with Central Business Unit Management.
  • Providing commercial Insight to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.
  • Identify and measure key success drivers for Central functions.
  • Support Central functions in preparation of planning data by providing financial analysis and modelling.  Responsible for planning data input into TM1.
  • Managing daily, weekly and month-end processes with specific responsibility to improve timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of product.
  • Lead the production of Central departments reporting including commentary and variance analysis.
  • Preparation of Board Slides and commentary.
  • Critically reviewing and enhancing processes, recommending improvements to ensure the highest quality of actual and planning data.
  • Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Providing ad-hoc MI as and when required.
  • Provision of technical advice during projects initiation and scoping.  Testing and sign off for relevant projects.
  • Driving improvements in the overall finance product and culture of the finance team.
  • Lead responses to Audit requests during the year end process.

Some of the skills and experience we are looking for: 

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience of multi-site or similar size Business
  • Experience of supporting operational teams & Business Partnering
  • Line management experience
  • Sun systems knowledge preferred
  • Experience of Microsoft packages
