• Full time, (9:30am – 5:30pm)
• Permanent position
• £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

With over 1,000 titles, they bridge the gap between subject and reader, serving diverse markets worldwide. The Role

As the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger
• Support in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Conduct financial analysis and report findings to senior management
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of financial controls
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
• Work closely with other departments to streamline financial processes
• Preparation of monthly stock valuation
• Preparation of royalties payable
• Managing finance team

The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional, eager to learn and grow within a supportive team.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar finance role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in financial software and MS Excel
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable
