Finance Manager  
Tipton
£50,000 - £60,000
Monday to Friday

We are looking for a Finance Manager with experience within the Construction industry to work for a leading Civil Engineering business based in Tipton. You will serve as a trusted business partner and strategic advisor to the Directors and make long-term financial decisions for the company.

Daily duties will include:


Management Accounts –

  • Complete accurate monthly management accounts within remit
  • Maintain and audit consistent policies, processes and procedures within the finance team
  • Preparation of regular forecasting
  • Produce annual budgets for all companies
  • Lead regular Management Accounts meetings with key stakeholders
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation calculations


Group Treasury –

  • Produce robust and accurate cashflows for all companies in the Group
  • Consolidate Group and non-Group cashflows ensuring good test and challenge to the numbers
  • Ensure all group cash is making the best interest as possible
  • Ensure that mortgages are achieving the best rates at the right times
  • Maintain up-to-date lease schedules for all Group-owned and leased properties.



Experience required:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with at least 5 years post-qualified experience or QBE by at least 8 years
  • Previous experience within a construction, house building and/or contracting environment
  • Proven experience of growing a business and increasing profitability
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and skills
