The ONE Group is exclusively partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed commercial IT supplier in Cambridge to recruit a Finance Manager for a newly created role. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will be pivotal in overseeing daily financial operations and driving strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare group accounts, annual budgets, and forecasts, presenting financial insights to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage cash flow, assess financial risks, and implement internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and CEO on business modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting.
  • Handle transfer pricing and tax planning.
  • Oversee annual accounts, tax filings, and R&D tax credit management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

You'll thrive in a hands-on finance role within a growing business and be eager to take on broader strategic responsibilities. You should be technically strong, detail-oriented, and commercially minded, with the drive to contribute at both an operational and leadership level.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Xero and other accounting/ERP systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of VAT, PAYE/NIC, transfer pricing, and import/export regulations.
  • Line management experience.
