We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a well-established family owned manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of the finance function while working closely with senior management to support strategic decision-making.

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing commercial insights, and supporting business growth.

Key duties include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models
• Reporting on cost of sales, production costs, margins and profitability by customer and product line
• Working closely with directors and senior management to support decision-making across the business by providing financial insights and strategic guidance
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, ensuring timely submissions of VAT, PAYE and facilitating the accountants to complete the annual accounts
• Overseeing the work of one finance assistant
• Supporting ERP and finance system enhancements

About you

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment
• Strong commercial awareness with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Qualified or qualified by experience accountant

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
