Finance Officer - Dubai Based

Our client, a global finance company, is looking to hire a Finance Officer to join their brand new team and new offices in Dubai!

ROLE: Finance Officer
WHERE: DIFC - Dubai
SALARY: 25,000 AED PCM

The responsibilities of the Finance Officer include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare the Firm's budget and financial projections on an annual basis
• Ensuring the establishment and maintenance of financial systems and controls, policies and procedures are managed effectively
• Ensure that the Firm has and maintains, Capital Resources of the kinds and amounts specified in, and calculated in accordance with, the DFSA's PIB Rules
• Ensure that the Firm maintains capital and liquid assets which are adequate in relation to the nature, size and complexity of its business to ensure that there is no significant risk
• Ensure that the Firm has, at all times, Capital Resources which exceed the amount of its Capital Requirement
• Ensure regular monitoring of the Firm's financial position and notify immediately upon identifying any breach, potential breach or concern
• Provide input into the Firm's Internal Risk Assessment Process
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports to the DFSA as per deadlines
• Liaise with external auditors as appropriate to ensure the timely completion of audits
• Ensure all compliance is followed correctly

WHAT'S NEEDED:

• DFSA Approved
• Already based in UAE
• Previous experience within financial services / trading
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience working with Salesforce
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Regulatory awareness
