Finance Officer - PT

MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting a Part Time Finance Officer for a well-respected, national organisation based in Colchester. As the Part Time Finance Officer, you will be responsible for all transactional finance processes and reporting budgets back to the CEO on a monthly basis. The role would suit someone with experience in a varied finance role to work within an organisation that really makes a difference to peoples lives. The role requires 24 hours per week in the office with flexibility on how the hours are worked.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Complete month and year end procedures
• Posting supplier and customer invoices
• Complete and submit quarterly VAT returns
• Manage employee expenses
• Managing customer subscriptions
• Budgets and forecasting
• Dealing with cash handling and other ah-hoc duties

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience using accounting software
• Proven knowledge of VAT
• AAT level 3 is desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player attitude
