Your new role
Finance Officer, office-based working 37 hours per week. More flexibility may become available after probation if required/requested.
What you'll need to succeed
For the Finance Officer role, the candidate will be required to undertake the following:

  • Deliver on PO requisitions, raising PO's and invoice management
  • Weekly BACS payment runs
  • Income management
  • Utilising ParentPay
  • Reconciliation of payments, cash and credit cards
  • General financial administration
  • Frequent liaison with Finance Manager
  • Department mailbox management
  • Ensurance of SoDA compliance

Should you have had previous exposure to Access (Payroll System) this would be of great benefit, but not critical to requirements.

What you'll get in return
In return for undertaking this role, the starting salary is between £25,119 and £26,421pa depending on experience. There is a generous holiday allowance and benefits package on offer.
The role is 5 days a week in the office and all year round, but should you have a preference for term-time only plus 2 weeks or even school hours working due to other commitments, these will be considered, but this is not a part-time role.
