Sheridan Maine are recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a small team in Southsea, where you will work closely with the Finance Manager to manage the day to day aspects of their accounts.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:
  • Credit Control, chasing any outstanding payments.
  • Raising and sending out invoices.
  • Raising sales ledger invoices.
  • Dealing with any invoice related queries.
  • Banking and cash management.
  • Credit card reconciliations.
  • Purchase ledger, processing supplier invoices.
  • Investigating and resolving any differences and disputes.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements.

The successful Finance Assistant will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Prior experience in a similar role working in a fast paced setting.
  • Familiarity with Sage accounting software is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to establish and build relationships across the business
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
