Your new companyWe are delighted to be recruiting for a public sector organisation based in Birmingham that are recruiting for a Finance Officer on a 3-month temporary contract, with a high probability of extension.
Your new role

  • Responsible for administering the service charge cycle for the Group's customers.
  • Work within the team to monitor and calculate actual service charge costs, ensuring information to customers is accurate and clear.
  • Calculate service charge estimates and ensure customers understand why costs have increased/decreased for the coming year.
  • Ensuring that the charges are correct and relevant.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience within a financial background - preferably as a Finance Officer/Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant
  • Experience within a service charge setting
  • Strong Excel skills - VLOOKUPs, SUMUPs etc.,
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Quickly adaptable
  • Immediately Available



What you'll get in return

  • Up to £35K temporary rate equivalent (dependent on experience)
  • 3-month contract with very high chance of extension
  • Hybrid working - Up to 1 day in the office per week in Birmingham
