NXTGEN is proud to be representing a leading Housing Association to bring a Finance Officer to join their growing team. As the Finance Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance function, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management during a period of growth and development. The role of Finance Officer is perfect for someone who excels in a dynamic environment and is passionate about contributing to impactful housing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing financial reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and day-to-day accounting tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and providing insightful analysis.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Collaborating with various departments to resolve financial queries and support strategic initiatives.

To be successful in this position you will need proven experience in finance or accounting, proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
