Resourcery Group is proud to partner with an established, reputable and successful not-for-profit organisation based in Liverpool, who are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Accountant to join the team. This role requires strong expertise in treasury management, cash flow analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration across the organisation.

 Responsbilities: 

  • Manage daily cash flow and treasury operations with precision and attention to detail
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
  • Contribute to monthly and annual financial reporting processes, providing valuable insights and analysis
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial support and analysis, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, promoting a strong culture of financial governance and risk management
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency, driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Review and analyse financial data to support decision-making, leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Lead, inspire and galvanise the Finance team, promoting a culture of excellence, diversity, and inclusion
  • Oversee loan management and debt management, maintaining a strong understanding of financial obligations and risks
  • Undertake ad hoc project work to support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT)

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in finance operations, treasury management, or similar roles, with a track record of success
  • Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and balance sheet reconciliation, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to leverage technology for enhanced efficiency and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Qualified in ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, with a strong understanding of financial principles and best practises
