Finance Project Support Officer

Nottingham (mainly remote only 1 day in the office)
6 Months temporary assignment

We need to recruit a Senior Project Support Officer to aid with managing workstreams, and reporting to the Transactional Services Lead to allow her to lead the project and have the headspace to make decisions rather than working in the detail.

The role will involve the following:

- Data Migration - this will involve moving over ten different data sets, including master data, updates to products, and transactional data including Purchase Orders.
- Migration of GL transactions, alongside managing our IT provider DXC, working alongside DXC and holding to account
- Previous experience of moving a Finance system would be hugely advantageous.
- Owning the communications regarding this project and collating updates from the team to feed into this.

Key Skills Required

- Strong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate data sets.
- Strong stakeholder management, the candidate will be liaising with multiple third parties.
- Previous experience of involvement in implementing a new Finance system
- No financial qualification is required, but an understanding of the processes would be helpful.
- Recalculation experience.

Our client is keen to attract a candidate with extensive project accounting experience (ideally large/multiple projects). You will be comfortable working with project management teams and managing a range of key priorities and deadlines. You have strong stakeholder management skills and technically you have the budgeting/costing experience a role like this requires.
