Responsibilities:

• Financial control of the group of companies
• Preparation of timely management information 
• Management of the external audit process
• Understanding of UK GAAP accounting policies and new financial reporting requirements.
• Production of GAAP compliant financial statements
• Oversight of treasury and liquidity reporting
• Providing management with adhoc financial analysis as required

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience
• Degree educated
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar)
• Technical knowledge of UK GAAP and regulatory reporting
• Ability to work tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and manage timelines and external parties
• Experience within financial services, preferably brokerage, is essential.
