Finance Systems Analyst , Specialist Insurance Company . Hybrid Working

The Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of finance systems and related data.

This is a varied role reporting into the Finance Business Analyst, providing support to the wider team with reports and analysis.

Key Responsibilities Finance Systems

Assist with the day-to-day management of all Oracle databases.

Maintaining both test and live Oracle environments •

Maintenance and assist with the development of all group ledgers and chart of accounts.

Monitoring interfaces and ensuring they operate correctly.

Reconciliation of data from source systems.

Testing of all Oracle quarterly updates.

Contribute to the development of Financial systems.

Analyse and document user requirements for development of financial systems Technical Support

Monitor Finance helpdesk and assist with query resolution.

Support staff with financial queries.

Analytics • Report writing • Analysis of data

Person Specification Knowledge/Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience of supporting the maintenance of accounting systems in the Insurance or Financial Services industry.

Previous working knowledge of Oracle is desirable.

Skills • SQL • MS Excel at Advanced level
