We have been instructed to find an experience Finance Systems Manager to join our client who is an expanding logistics business based near Northampton (hyrbrid working) on an initial 6-month contract with the possibility to extend and/or go permanent.

They are looking for a strong, immediately available Finance Systems Manager to join forces with the finance, IT and operational teams to lead and support the development, implementation, and administration of their company’s financial systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of financial systems.
  • Research and stay current on financial record-keeping, reporting requirements, and relevant governance regulations.
  • Ensure financial systems adhere to these requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments and IT resources to ensure seamless system integration.

Key requirements:

  • Extensive experience in financial systems management or a related field.
  • Proven experience with leading or participating in financial systems implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Experience of using SAP.
