Altum Consulting are partnering exclusively with a private equity backed entertainment business with a global presence. The business was acquired as part of a buy & build strategy and the successful individual will be exposed to a high growth environment. We are looking to source a Finance Systems Manager and the purpose the role will be to oversee the finance consolidation system and ensure its proper functioning. This includes system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to address any technical issues or errors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage finance-related systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on finance systems and processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to recommend system improvements and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of finance consolidation processes, accounting principles, and UK IFRS financial reporting requirements.
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems (ideally Agresso) and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
