15 Month FTC Covering Maternity

Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant for a 15-month maternity leave cover in their London office.

This role is pivotal in managing compliance reporting, financial statements, and tax returns. So, if numbers are your thing, keep reading!

As the Financial Accountant, you'll dive into preparing annual financial statements and supporting audits.

You'll handle corporation tax returns, compute the PAYE Settlement Agreement, and assist with LLP financial statements and the Partnership Tax return.

VAT returns will be an area of expertise as you coordinate interfirm billing and reconcile intra-firm accounts.

You'll keep the general ledger in excellent shape and oversee GL-to-sub-ledger reconciliations, fixed assets, VAT filings, and tax payments.

You will monitor ledger finalisations, journal entries, and balance sheet reclassifications, all while providing local management with compliance issue reports.

To be considered, you'll need to be a fully or part-qualified (finalist) Accountant with a recognised accounting body, ideally with experience in professional services.

You'll excel in influencing senior leaders, ensuring operational efficiency, and managing financial accounting.

Your skills will include project management, systemic thinking, risk assessment, and decisive action.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (macros preferred), is essential. And let's not forget you’ll need strong networking and collaboration abilities across a diverse range of teams.
