This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Interim Financial Accountant to join a well-established professional services team in Oxford for an initial 6 months

Client Details

Our client is known for its data-driven approach, commercially and global reach.

Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare monthly and year-end close processes and reporting.
  • Apply accounting policies and standards to ensure accurate financial submissions.
  • Ensure timely filing of financial statements and local tax filings with the help of external accountants.
  • Act as a liaison between the finance team and third-party local accounting firms.
  • Prepare monthly VAT and quarterly VAT returns for external accountant review and submission.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the external audit process.
  • Assist in finalising monthly management accounts for three entities
  • Hybrid working arrangement 3 days in the office in central oxford, 2 days from home

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field ideally
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA. ESSENTIAL
  • Strong Year end and monthly management account preparation
  • Experience in a complex global organisation ideally
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Offer

  • 355,000 - £65,000 salary depending on experience.
