Investigo are partnering exclusively with a fantastic business who are seeing a Qualified Accountant to join their already impressive finance team as a Financial Accountant.

Location: Kings Cross, London (x3 days in the office x2 working from home)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + bonus + benefits

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, this role gives you an incredible learning opportunity and exposure to the board of this fast growing PE backed travel business.

Job Role:

  • Responsible for leading on the preparation of the Group statutory accounts under IFRS
  • Accountable for the half-year and year end accounts for the group
  • Management of the year-end process, preparation of audit schedules, and relationships with auditors
  • Monitoring of changes to IFRS etc, ensuring the company stays compliant
  • Preparation of technical accounting memorandums
  • Prepare and file all corporation tax requirements within statutory deadlines
  • Provide support in tax management exercises (including transfer pricing)
  • Day to day contact with tax advisors and periodically with HMRC
  • Responsible for year-end tax calculations, including deferred tax
  • Reviewing PIK note information and intercompany balances

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • ACA qualified or equivalent
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Great team player, able to business partner with the wider company and investors
