Seeking a Financial Accountant to join a vibrant business that specialises in immersive experiences. You will join a friendly team and guide more junior members on this journey. Reporting to the UK Finance Manager you will be heavily involved in process improvement throughout the role.

Key responsibilities

  • Ownership in the resolution of open accounting issues
  • Ownership in the month-end global close of subsidiaries
  • Robust preparation of month-end balance sheet reconciliation for some of the subsidiaries within the group
  • Assisting the FC with variance analysis
  • Provide guidance on correct accounting treatment for junior members of staff
  • Lead monthly meetings with senior finance staff to review reconciliation and highlight any misstatements or material incorrect entries
  • Reviewing and identifying both control and process improvements
  • Assist with fieldwork for year-end statutory group audit

Requirements

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant with a proven track record in management accounting.
  • Knowledge of VAT and tax from a UK perspective
  • Experience of consolidation of multi-national, multi-currency group
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and understand variances and underlying reasons

This is a hybrid role with 3 days spent in Waterloo and 2 days WFH.
