Financial Accountant is being recruited to join a global pharmaceutical business in Liverpool.

Client Details

This organisation has a global manufacturing network and is a market leader within its sector. They've created a new role for an Financial Accountant to join a growing accountancy function. You will be part of a large finance team, surrounded by some really good talent. It would be a great environment for a Part-Qual who is looking for support for both their professional development and also help towards their studies.

Description

Reporting to the finance director, your duties will consist of:

  • Supporting with the preparation of month end accounts.
  • Posting accruals and prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Supporting the delivery of variance analysis to budget
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Supporting Ad-hoc projects, as well as always looking to improve processes and controls.

Profile

Successful candidates to the Financial Accountant role must have the following:

  • Actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA
  • Experience working in a similar role with an understanding of accruals and prepayments
  • Strong desire to learn and develop
  • Excellent communication skills as well as being able to build strong relationships
  • Well organised with a strong attention to detail
