The successful individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial reporting and accounting operations. This includes preparing and presenting financial statements, managing month-end and year-end close processes, overseeing the maintenance of financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
- Detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate client reports reconciliations
- Prepare and present financial statements to management and external stakeholders
- Oversee the maintenance of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Develop and implement processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and accounting operations
- Management Accounts preparation when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial analysis and insights
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA)
- Minimum 2 years of Accounting Experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience in managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Salary up to £35,000
- Annual Performance Bonus
