We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Financial Accountant to join our client based in Glasgow City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a Part-Qualified individual who is looking to progress their career in the finance industry.
  
The successful individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial reporting and accounting operations. This includes preparing and presenting financial statements, managing month-end and year-end close processes, overseeing the maintenance of financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
  • Detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate client reports reconciliations
  • Prepare and present financial statements to management and external stakeholders
  • Oversee the maintenance of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and accounting operations
  • Management Accounts preparation when required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial analysis and insights
Qualifications:

  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA)
  • Minimum 2 years of Accounting Experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Experience in managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
