Financial Accountant

About the Business

We are recruiting for a technology business with a strong reputation for high quality service. The role will be supporting the Financial Director whilst growing with the business.

Working Pattern

This role offers a hybrid working pattern based in Worcester with 3 days at home and 2 from the office, during probation the role would allow one day a week from home.

Main Duties

• Be part of a growing finance function for a circa £90m business with aims to grow to £100m
• Responsibility for the organisations tax compliance to include VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE/NIC and SA Tax
• Management and development of an assistant accountant
• Co-ordinating production of the firm’s cashflow projections
• Responsibility for the organisations year end and month end processes
• Production of year end accounts for Finance Director review and audit
• Production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and relevant follow up action
• Co-ordinate and manage the year end audit
• Deal with all other financial compliance issues
• Produce accounts for associated companies
• Supporting firmwide projects as needed

What We Are Looking For

• ACCA/ACA qualified
• Experience in leading a team both in reporting and commercial aspects
• The ability to lead finance projects.
• Meticulous, organised, enthusiastic and hardworking
