Role Details - Financial Accountant

We are looking for a proactive Financial Accountant to join an excellent, well-known business based in North Warwickshire on a permanent basis.

You will be working for a fantastic hiring manager, who has an excellent focus on championing development in the individuals in their team.

Role responsibilities of Financial Accountant

  • Encouraging daily financial control
  • Supporting management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information to achieve corporate objectives
  • Development of existing and creation of new team processes, tools and procedures to assist in the team's goals
  • Accurately and efficiently providing financial information for reporting, forecasting, and controlling.
  • Sound understanding and experience with US GAAP
  • Oversight of technical accounting procedures
  • Leading projects and initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducting research and analysis into issues within the company
  • Implementing and reviewing control frameworks for accounting-relevant processes to ensure effective control monitoring

Skills required of the Financial Accountant

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) with 3-5 years PQE
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and with a team
  • Great team player
