Financial Accountant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£50,000 - £55,000 plus bonus and hybrid remote working

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to

• Oversee the monthly accounting close cycle in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Maintain robust and compliant controls & processes to ensure accurate reporting of both the P&L and Balance Sheet
• Lead the annual preparation of statutory financial statements for the business ensuring compliant and timely filing and provide assistance/guidance on other smaller UK entities
• Primary point of contact for the external auditors
• Assist Finance and Business leaders with the co-ordination and accounting for new businesses, contracts, processes and accounting standards
• Provide monthly and quarterly reporting/analysis on the financial position of the business
• Provide support and input to wider finance team goals and objectives and participate in initiatives that will benefit the business

Person specification:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
• Significant experience in preparation of Statutory Financial Statements
• Knowledge of complex accounting systems and reporting applications
• Compliance Focused
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to build positive relationships and focus on customer satisfaction
