We are seeking a Financial Accountant who will support the Accounting & Finance Department's operations within the public sector. The role involves maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation by ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing financial advice.

Description

  • Performing financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice.
  • Implementing financial policies and maintaining the financial procedures manual.
  • Reviewing financial data and preparing monthly and annual reports.
  • Assisting with audits and financial inspections.
  • Providing financial advice to the organisation's management team.
  • Contributing to financial strategy development.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Proficient use of finance software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
