We are looking for a Financial Accountant to work for an international automotive manufacturing company in Oxford who wants to progress their career and development. You will hold responsibility for monthly reporting according to IRFS for various subsidiaries with a combined average turnover of over £5bn.

Daily duties will include:
  • Preparation of statutory annual financial statements
  • Contribution to monthly management reporting process and supporting the external audit processes
  • Adhere to strict deadlines whilst ensuring the high-quality output of the financial statements
  • Take a key role in the financial planning processes such as the annual budget and rolling forecasts
  • Be highly involved in digitalisation and continuous process improvement activities


Experience required:

  • Fully qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in financial accounting with audit and experience within an international company and/or “Big 4” practice background.
  • Manufacturing or automotive industry experience.
  • Knowledge of IRFS and FRS101 required.
  • Knowledge and experience of using SAP
  • Proficient with MS Office – especially Excel
