Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant, 1 Day per Week in North West London, up to 60k.

IN2 Consult are working with a client who are looking for a Qualified Accountant, ideally someone making their first career move, to join a fast-growing and innovative company. The role will be a mixture of producing statutory and management accounts with the opportunity to promote in the future.

Key Duties:

• Handle the preparation of statutory and tax filings for entities across the region, including annual returns, direct taxes, and other necessary submissions.
• Manage the coordination and execution of regular CIT payments.
• Acquire a deep understanding of statutory obligations for the EMEA countries under your responsibility.
• Prepare documentation to support audit activities.
• Produce annual statutory accounts and tax packs.
• Contribute to system upgrades and maintain relevant documentation.
• Oversee regulatory reporting duties.
• Suggest and support initiatives for process improvements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Enhance the statutory and regulatory compliance framework.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades related to your role.
• Assist in enhancing financial governance and reporting structures.
• Partner with the Regional Statutory Compliance Manager and Finance teams to ensure strong and effective statutory and regulatory processes throughout the business.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with other Finance departments.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams to address and rectify statutory and regulatory control issues.
• Take part in various ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• ACA / ICAEW / CA / CPA qualification with experience from a top 10 audit firm.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and statutory GAAP within EMEA is preferred.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
