Financial Accountant

We are currently recruiting for one of our clients based in Stevenage who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team on a full-time basis. This role could suit a candidate making their first move from a practice environment, but our client is also open to candidates coming from a commercial background.

Typical duties include:

- Preparing monthly reporting packs and supporting with budgeting and forecasting duties

- Ensuring statutory accounts are completed accurately and in a timely manner

- Implementing process improvements where necessary

- Supporting business leaders with project accounting tasks

- Ensuring deadlines are met when producing financial reports

- Supporting with any audit processes

- Performing any other ad-hoc tasks where required

You will have:

- A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

- A strong technical skillset and a keen eye for detail

- Excellent communication, both written and verbal

- The ability to manage your own work effectively
