We are seeking a Qualified Financial Accountant to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for supporting our finance department with VAT returns, assisting in the upcoming audit, and aiding with year-end procedures.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide essential support during the external audit process scheduled for February.
• Assist with year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the finance team to implement best practices and improve financial procedures.
• Ensure all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in managing VAT returns and understanding VAT legislation.
• Strong experience in preparing for audits and year-end financial tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
