I am currently supporting a well-known law firm based in Birmingham City Centre who after exceptional growth require a technically focused Accountant to come on board to support and report directly into the Head of Financial Accounting. This would be a brilliant opportunity to join a professional, prestigious business within a position that offers great insight to the entire finance function, working with finance and non-finance members of staff.

Ideally you will;

• Be ACA/ACCA newly qualified, either looking to make your first move into industry from practice or alternatively working within a technical position within industry
• Have previously had to deliver high profile reports to senior members of the business, able to talk through the reports and relaying to non-finance individuals
• Be able to assist with the year-end accounts for the Group looking at balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset register, month end reports within the general ledger etc.
• Always be looking for ways in which you can improve the reporting process, working closely with the Head of Financial Accounting and your team members
