Financial Analyst

Robert Half are working in partnership with a renowned, thriving business in Swindon to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their finance function on a full-time permanent basis. This is a exceptional role that be involved with management accounting, financial analysis and business partnering with various stakeholders. This would be suitable for someone that is studying towards ACCA/CIMA/AAT and is looking for the next step up in their career, whilst being a part of business that is known for offering career development opportunites. The salary is between £35,000 - £39,000 plus study support, bonus, hybrid working and other benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Financial Analyst role will consist of the following:

• Producing budgets and forecasts for assigned business unit
• Profit and loss analysis
• Variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Budget vs actuals
• Business partnering with various stakeholders; dealing with queries and translating financial data into information.

Requirements

To be considered for the Financial Analyst role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:

• Must ideally have management/month-end accounting experience; exposure to accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ideally an ACCA/CIMA/AAT studier
• Inquisitive mindset
• Hard work ethic
• Strong communication skills
• Confident user of Excel; pivot tables, lookups, sumifs
