Financial Controller - (12 Months FTC)

£75-80K 

Central London Based 

Hybrid (2 days a week)

Start Date: ASAP

A dynamic, exciting SaaS business who have recently secured additional investment are looking for a Financial Controller as they continue to develop their long-term business strategy. The Financial Controller will be responsible for much of the day-to-day finance function for the company, as well as working closely with the CFO in upcoming M&A activities.

General responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining budgets and forecasts for budget holders including budget meetings with heads of departments to report actuals verses forecasted expenditure.
  • Month end close process including the preparation of Management Accounts including consolidation.
  • Payroll processing for the UK and US including statutory filings, tax and social security payments.
  • Bi-monthly and monthly cash flow reporting including debtor analysis, cash runway and FX variances.
  • Managing monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
  • Assisting the CFO with the annual budgeting process
  • Assisting the CFO in M&A and fundraising activities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 2+ years’ post-qualified experience in a similar role including multicurrency and consolidation.
  • Previous experience working for a SaaS business.
  • Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity in tax and accounting compliance and regulations
  • Previous use of Sage and Xero would be an advantage.
