Financial Controller Property & Construction Hampshire £80,000

This role is to oversee the construction and renovation of an important historical estate and return it to its former glory

The role will also oversee the evaluation of revenue creation from its extensive lands.

  • Reporting to project CEO and Principal.
  • Day to day management and control of all expenses.
  • Month end accounts preparation detailed expenditure report by project
  • Projects register and detailed recording of all expenses
  • Ensure correct approval is granted for each project
  • Establishment of purchase order system
  • Obtain competitive quotes for various projects
  • Capital expenditure report
  • Preparation of annual budget
  • Monitoring of actual expenses V Budget and explanation of variances
  • Management of finance team as it grows
  • Ensure all staff payments correctly made and costs allocated
  • Research and identify areas where the estate can generate income
  • Consider renting of land to farmers and other manners of revenue creation
  • Implement Sales ledger system for recording of income.
  • Implement accounting system in tandem with external auditors

The role would ideally suit someone from a property and construction background, who is highly commercial and would relish the opportunity of working on this important renovation and restoration.
