Are you seeking an outstanding career prospect in Finance? Join our esteemed client, a thriving business situated near Stanmore, as their Financial Controller. In this pivotal role, you'll be taking charge of financial operations for this rapidly expanding group, and collaborating closely with key stakeholders across the organization. This role is also a hybrid working position, allowing you to work from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily accounting (Receivables, Payables, Ledger, bank, and credit card transactions).
- Post prepayments, accruals, and cost reallocation journals.
- Prepare stock reconciliations and month-end journals.
- Maintain asset records and depreciation journals.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with CIS and VAT returns.
- Coordinate budget and forecast preparation.
- Create monthly and annual financial reports.
- Liaise with auditors for statutory audits.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Construction/Utilities industry background is highly desirable
- Previously used Sage 200, WAP, or Syrinx
- Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or related field.
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAEW certification or other professional accounting qualifications.
SALARY & PERKS:
- Competitive salary up to £85,000.

LOCATION:
This role is a hybrid working position based near Stanmore - Easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Watford, Edgware, Finchley and Wembley.
