Financial Controller

ROBERT WALTERS - FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Salary: £85,000 - £95,000

Location: Birmingham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and dedicated Financial Controller to join an industry-leading organisation. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's future direction and strategy.

What you'll do:

* Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting

* Prepare budgets and financial forecasts and report variances

* Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

* Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

* Support month-end and year-end close process

* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

What you bring:

*Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)

* Proven working experience as a Financial Controller

* Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

* Experience with creating financial statements

* Excellent accounting software user administration skills

* Ability to strategise and solve problems

* Strong leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
